2024 Rain Catcher Award
TWDB Accepting Applications for the 2024 Texas Rain Catcher Award
Do you know of a neighbor or friend who has a rainwater harvesting system installed in their home? Does your nearby public library or fire station have a rainwater harvesting system?
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is currently accepting applications for the Texas Rain Catcher Award through June 30. Since 2007, the Texas Rain Catcher Award has recognized Excellence in the application of rainwater harvesting systems in Texas.
The TWDB presents awards in each of the following categories: agricultural, commercial/industrial, educational/governmental, and residential. The competition is open to all individuals, companies, organizations, municipalities, and state governmental entities in Texas.

June Meeting Date Has Changed
The June 2024 Board meeting at Stanley Lake MUD has been changed to June 21, 2024 at 12:00pm.

Texas weather is unpredictable. In the midst of such erratic weather conditions it is essential to Know Your Watershed to be equipped with knowledge that can prepare you for the next severe weather event.
All water for Stanley Lake MUD comes from underground aquifers. No surface water from Lake Conroe is used.
